Looking at a LEFT hand T/C Renegade in .54. Nice shape, bore very good, wood has normal wear and safe dings. I have no idea how much it would be worth. A RIGHT hand Renegade in this condition sold here recently for $350., would this rifle be worth the same? or less?
I have never seen a LEFT hand before? Thanks

'Nice shape' $250.00 to maybe $300.00 'Very good to Excellent shape' around the $350.00 the right handed one sold for here. 'New or Like new' $400.00 to maybe $450.00 depending how nice the stock is.

I agree with bubba.

Like what Appalachian Hunter said.

I once worked with a left handed braggart who often reminded me he and his hunting partner, also left handed, both owned the coveted left handed .54 T/C Renegade. Do left handed shooters travel in pairs? Being right handed guy myself I'm still not sure why I was expected to be impressed by such news.

My cousin's boy is left handed shooter so I've occasionally checked pricing on such muzzleloaders and they do appear to bring a premium. T/C Renegades (right handed), in particular the .54 caliber ones, seem to be priced well out of reason, but they sell.

$350 for a left hand. 54 Renegade with an excellent bore and in good condition sounds like a deal to me.

A left handed gun is one item I'm looking for in my teaching guns. I haven't found one yet in 50cal. Yup, they're not common and do get a bit of as premium

Offer them $300, they will probably take it. And if its what you want $350 is not bad these days. If you got one in hand and its nice grab it up.Can't tell you how many guns I turned down for $50 to much and then chased around for another 6-12 months wasting gas and money!!

A buddy and I have a saying; “are you going to let $50 keep you from getting something you want?” When talk comes up about gun deals it invariably comes down to laments about guns sold and now missed. I regret a lot more the ones I did not buy when given the chance.

Is it cap or flint?? A flintlock lefty in excellent condition will bring a premium.
