I can see where all three lock interior screws are rubbing inside the mortise. I back off all I could, but it will not fire after being cocked? will the trigger have any issues along with too much wood inside?Yes. Have to clear nipples.

rightCould be stock interference, something too tight in the lock or trigger position. Just some old fashioned troubleshooting to figure out.

It has to be something with the trigger as well. I can get it to cock in half and full, but it will not fire? Yes it is, I'm fixing to remove left lock and compare to pictureIs the right lock fully seated and flush with wood? Shouldn’t take much effort to seat it. View attachment 42151
