So.........

It is a fact that Kibler does not make a left hand kit as of right now but you want him to, here is a solution for you, start a campaign and get all your lefty friends to commit to ordering a Kibler (insert model here) with a non-refundable down payment. When you get a 1000 or so people committed with hard currency I am sure that the purchase of a $500,000 dollar CNC machine will be in Kibler's future.

Or you could purchase the machine yourself and build all lefty models just to spite us righty's.

I had to re-read several of these posts to make sure I understood them. A lefty complaining that Kibler won’t basically reinvent the wheel because 10% of the population is left handed. Well I’m guessing out of the 10% of lefties maybe 50% are shooters, and maybe 1% of them shoot muzzleloaders, and maybe another 25% want and can afford a Kibler kit. so yes Jim Kibler you should spend a couple thousand hours of his“free time” completely redo his operation so he can make this one Karen a rifle which I’m sure he’ll then find something to complain about. Oh and he could probably sell ten more over the next couple of decades!!!
As awesome as lefty’s advice is I’m sure Jim will pass, I know I would.

You have to look at the cost vs. benefit when in manufacturing. Jim K. could sell 100 RH kits while making 3 LH kits that may or may not sell. If you really want a LH kit, offer to pay a non-refundable deposit up front and wait. That will let him know how much interest there really is. I'm left-handed, and I prefer RH rifles. I don't see near the flash that way.
Then there is the option that is age old, charge a lefty more......kibler has a fine product, but sadly I will never own one in my lifetime or the ability to build one myself. And most folks could care less.

Do the same math for righties. Another who gives not a hoot. Ever looked at a lefty rifle vs righty? What is the difference? So lefties are karens now? Got it.....live in our world sometime. Oh you could, try driving in England to start.

I am also a south paw, i have been around many years. I fully understand Mr. Kibler's position. He has more funds tied up in his equipment than he could ever break even trying to build rifles for LH people. It's not that he would not do it, but he would lose money. Who can afford to take that much of a loss & stay in business.

Absolutely NUTZ that it,s turned into this.
Yep, a lefty thread. How many we got of those? He makes a good product and I wish them all the success with it. Just like catholic school got hit with a sharp edged ruler in this thread. The metal edge of one.

You should see all my pm's now that are telling me to leave the forum.

I had a good friend who has passed now (I seem to say that a lot at my age) that lost his right eye shooting a rolling block (that is a cautionary tale about shooting duplex loads) and switched to left hand and kept on shooting. Never heard him complain about it.

My number three son coined a mantra that has become one well used with our grandchildren "You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit."

As some who has a severe retina disease- If I lost a eye shooting of all things a duplex load I certainly would not complain about any encumbered vision problems .

I shot right handed flintlocks left handed. No problem for me. Now, to shoot a percussion left handed- wear a wrist sleeve or something! Never enjoyed the cap splatter.

I medieval times and before left handed people were thought to be children of the devil. This has been considered nonsense for many years. Recent YDNA breakthroughs have proved however that lefties are indeed offspring of Satan.
Follow me for more science stuff.

Some people just need something to complain about.

Hit the ignore button those low lifes. I have many on ignore, i don't care to be among them

If by entitlement you mean I expect the same level of service for the same price then I guess I am. No, you certainly do not owe lefties or anyone else anything. It seems I have misunderstood the term custom. I was under the impression it ment “to customer specification”. I apologize for being old and grouchy and tired of a life of compromises. I simply am done paying for things that I have to adapt to.
So, you’re feeling entitled. Go buy a kit from some other place and make it yourself. If I were @James Kibler I’d put you on a “do not sell to” list “…

Yep..I don't see any LH guns coming from Kibler.
Not cost effective.

I agree as a fellow lefty. Very tired of folks telling me I have to adapt. They need to tape their right hand closed and live a day like we have to. Had nuns and basketball coaches do that to me to force me to be right handed. Stubborn, did not take then and will not now.
I’m sure that you’ll find something to buy. @James Kibler will continue on doing what he’s doing. I’m sorry that this doesn’t work for you… there needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few.

OK,, it is simply a matter of our seeing things differently. You offer your kits with options. Calibers, barrels etc. A left-handed version is not one of them. We seem to have each found just the right words to set the other off. My fault. For whatever reason telling me your lefthanded customers shoot your right-handed kits set me off. It shouldn't have, it normally wouldn't but the timing was just wrong. Good luck to you sir, I wish you every success in your endeavor.
Making a whole NEW kit would be a nightmare. It takes him a lot of work to develop the kits. Is not as simple as punching a button. People don’t get that. You’re talking an immense amount of work for very little return. Doesn’t that sounds entitled to you?
