. . . then I loaded up my replica Rem, charged up to 25 yard line and blasted the rotten buggers! there was lots of walking back and forth to inspect the target, since my sights are not adjustable . . . I tried to figure out the sights, but continued to confuse myself! :surrender: I had only one shot left, so I saved it for the target to submit!

One thing I noticed as I walked back and forth between the target and the 25 yard line . . . was my crisco was getting blown out of the cylinders!

It was supposed to be ONE shot with the pistol - cold. :haha: But as you hadn't fired it before we'll ask the Jupiter War Crimes Tribunal to allow this.

It had been four years since I'd fired mine. I knew I had to hold wicked low and I was still high. The "sights" on a Colt Navy are hardly target. I just keep both eyes open and treat the front bead like I do my shotguns.

And it looks like I do better with a sightless smoothie than I do a sighted rifle. :redface:

Yeah, and double the charge, and better switch to those long boolits, as anybody who knows anything, will tell you, that round balls can't kill! :rotf: :surrender: specially those rotten aliens... And to think I went out ... The brave and courageous soul that I am, armed only with my little TC Seneca and some puny .35 round lead balls gift wrapped in purty blue! :grin:

I sure hope the tribunal will go easy on me, but in my defense ... Umm, let's see ... Oh yeah ... Here it is ... It is impossible to have a cold gun in AZ in Aug! I did my best not to burn my hands when I picked it up! :rotf: :blah:

90 gr FFg behind a patched 0.715" patched ball seems to spank things pretty good (note the "felled" tree behind the target). Also, t
here's a creek and then hillside behind that - making a good backstop).

Glad I thought ahead and wore a padded shoulder vest. :haha:

Ok had about a half dozen or so targets sent in so far, not nearly enough to kill em all guys. Get those targets in, time is runnin out.

Rifle Shooters - two shots at 100 yards and two shots at 75 yards, off hand.
