thanks to the ga. dnr , we are required to wear blaze orange. who knows how many lives have been saved, thanks to them.

The reason, as I understand it, is so that if a hunter shoots someone, especially those not hunting, he/she can't make a claim that the victim contributed to the accident by not wearing a required color during hunting season.

I just located Montana's regulations on Blaze Orange - 400+ square inches above the waist, no mention of it being solid. So my wool Blaze Orange ghillie suit gets created.

Iowa is a blaze orange state for all firearms deer season. Not required for bow hunting or turkey hunting. Greg.

Indiana requires solid blaze orange during all firearms seasons, except early squirrel. But it can be as simple as a hat or cap.......robin :surrender:

I wear it up here in the summer checking trail cams. Poachers know no season and I don't want to get hit by one.
