NO ML is safe from blowing up...
when in the hands on the untrained or a real nimrod.
I've seen this first hand in the mid 1970's when a guy shooting me beside at a match blew his CVA rifle in half. Dropped him like a poleaxed steer.
The Greenhorn didn't know to clean his gun between shots so as the day wore on he had a fouling ring build up to the point that his gun blew up from the fouling ring to the muzzle from the air gap between the ball and powder.
Now to the issue of the guns offered by MVTC & LOYALIST being safe...
Yes.As long as they are loaded correctly.
I have custom guns that are much nicer than those from MVTC or LOYALIST in my gun safe but... my MVTC doglock and my friend's LOYALIST musket out sparks any of my high end custom flinters.
