Rifleman 1776;

Child labor gets a bad rap. The glass is half FULL!

They are learning a trade and their little fingers are nimble and can more easily get into tight spots like the nooks and crannies of flintlocks, an engine compartment of an industrial truck, chimneys and mines, etc. Any wages, even low ones as they learn on-the-job almost as a gift, also offer us low retail prices -- win-win!

Child labor is bad enough. It is the slave part that I can't tolerate. There are plenty of news reports and documentaries on every year that show this. It is a well known fact of life in India.

This is an old post but lve ordered a ranger musketoon from Loyalist Arms and I'll post pics when l get it.
As far as why buy LA instead of MVTC?

Well, I'm not here to slam anyone but let's just say after putting a gun on layaway with MVTC and waiting more than a year and a half and still not getting far enough down the list to even hope for delivery of my gun for another 6 months l decided to cancel back in October.
And now after three emails since then l still haven't received my refund or even received any type of response....period.
Mind you, lve been polite about the whole thing and haven't sent any nasty grams out whatsoever.

Now granted the original order was for a pistol that l had changed to a carbine and l understand there is a 20% restocking fee upon cancellation of an order but to not respond at all without even so much as a 'get bent' or whatever?

Anyway, l didnt come here to rant, but you might want to check the reviews from the BBB before you buy, evidently I'm not the only one with this issue.

Anyhoo, I'll post pics of my ranger musket when it comes in.

I won’t buy from Middlesex Trading simply becuase i don’t trust their owner, Pete, you never know when he will lose his temper and keep your money and never send you a gun.

I don’t own any Indian Made Guns, but have seen the guns from loyalist arms. I would go there, they do some nice work.

Yeah, l learned my lesson the hard way.
Looking forward to getting the musket and seeing just how good or bad these Indian muskets really are myself.

I have heard many good things over the years concerning Loyalist Arms. I think you made a good choice ordering from them, and look forward to seeing the product you receive.
I ordered an India-made doglock blunderbuss from Veteran Arms some years ago and was happy with the quality for the price. It found a new home before I shot it, however.

Bought a Baker from middlesex many years ago. Took 6 months to get it, something he didn’t mention when i placed the order. Seems his dealings are worse now. I do like the gun .

You got it pretty fast compared to the rest of us. I heard things were better years ago with that company. I guess stuff happens.
