Bree at Kiblers must feel very good when she tells us old kids that our package is ready to ship. I feel like it's Christmas time.
The box was supposed to have arrived on Friday, but was delayed. It did come today, however. I couldn't wait to get home and tear it apart.

If I didn't already have a flintlock or percussion rifle or fowler in almost every caliber (I have 3 in .54, two flints and one percussion), I would be sending Mr. Kibler an order, these kits are spectacular.

I already have the WW in .54, so I'm not jealous I am jealous of your username, get after 'em!

I have put 2 of them together. It still amazes me how well everything fits. Its easy to bark out "its made on a CNC!". I've spent a lifetime in the CNC world and that alone doesn't guarantee anything. There is some serious work, design and planning involved to make them go together so easily and perfectly.

I ordered some Tannic Acid powder with it. I've never used it before so I'm a bit nervous about it. I've always used only aquafortis or various dyes.

The quality of the packing is usually a good indicator of the quality of the product. In this case both are top drawer outstanding.

Well I fell off the wagon today also. Built a Xtra fancy maple carved in March as my first flint in .54 and today I ordered #2125 quick ship in .45. May God help us all and thank God for Jim Kibler for people like me.
