Cant see all your patch box but what I do see is the stock 1975/76 kind all your missing onit from the "Herritage" pic is the peep rear what kind of front sight do you have? This shows a small apt up front like on the 48". Fred :hatsoff:

Its tapped for a peepsite (one hole), I would like to get one for it. Any suggestions. I'll get it out later and see what kind if front site it has. think I will have to remove the current rear site if I mount a peep. Whadda ya think?
Mike

If it has org sights the back you have can be used with the org peep sight if you have the apt front sight ( its in a tube) Just sight thru all 3 and get a real no miss pic to shoot at Fred :hatsoff:

I believe "an apt site" is just a shortened way of saying "an aperture sight" with "aperture" meaning a small hole as is found in a peep sight.
zonie :)

heres a factory heritage rear sight. scarce puppy to find.

took me about a year to find one. i used a williams peep with a merit adjustable disc. now it sports a lyman 57 because i wanted easier windage adjustment. the williams looked sleek and matched the lines of the rifle. i think the middle rifle in the trio has a williams aperature sight on it. wk1

Thanks Zonie and WAl 1 , I got a ad out yesterday from 1975 and willget it up as soon as I can. The rear is right and thanks to Wal 1 and GMWW I still have that rear one they found for me some time back. The front came (back n the 70s) with a small tube about a 1/4" and you can pull from the top inserts like a solid one with small hole (very dead eye I shot a 3 shot 1 hole at 50 yds with this one in the 48" target H+A) or a post with hole or 2 blades that are thin and thick. the center if it has a small screw can be pulled out and turned 4 ways for different blades ect. ( Marbles 2 "U"s and 2 Vs) Fred :hatsoff:
