Thanks RyanAK! I found several that it matched in Tom Grinslade's book Flintlock Fowlers.New guy here and really enjoying this build. I’m interested in this Chambers kit, and these are some of the best photos around. Chambers’s website calls this a 1760s gun but Barbie said it’s actually based on a 1790s example. Now with good pics of the hardware I can look in my research material and form my own thoughts. Thanks for doing such a fine job of documenting the build. You’re a fine craftsman!
Thanks Loja man!Looking really good! I’m so excited about seeing it at Friendship!
Thanks! I'm thinking I'll give them a coat of paste wax.Great work , do you seal the inleted areas , under the barrel , lock etc , to water proof them ?
Thank you for admiring my magnificent build but I didn't build the beautiful firearm , Hatchet_Jack didA magnificent build Cutfinger, I've joined late here but will go back to page 1 and study your progress in more detail.
Expect a few questions from me here and there, I'm seriously interested in your method etc.

Thanks Coinneach! I purchase the hat from Crazy Crow. The heavy felt hat blank is pretty nice.Good to read you've thawed out Jack, and a great Smoothie you produced there.
BTW where did you get that low crowned Hat, I'm looking for one from your country, Aussie here.
