Ask your self how many NMLRA Director are on this Forum ? ZERO

For what it's worth, you have no way to know who is a member of this Forum.

Well IMHO one of the Missions one accepts as an NMLRA Director is to Representative the NMLRA, If you are not PROWD ENOUGH to do that RESIGN, and let some fill the position who is will to talk honestly about the NMLRA it strengths, and weaknesses. Think being an NMLRA Director or Field Representative is more then WEARING A BADGE of Office, and getting Preferred Parking privileges at National Shoots. IMHO. :blah:

I don't know what your response has to do with my statement about you not knowing who is a member here. It appears that your ill feelings toward the NMLRA clouds your judgement when responding to the dialog.

I said nothing about the NMLRA, it's Directors or Representatives.

Well I will respond to your statement, if we have any NMLRA Directors, or Field Representative here IMHO they should get involved in these threads, or RESIGN THEIR POSITIONS IMHO.

I've tried to stay out of this, but asking the Directors of an organization to participate in a privately owned forum, or resign, is ludicrous. What would they be asked to do next?

Directors should only be asked to resign if they are violating their own bylaws. And even then, they can only be asked by members of the organization.

Well at one time the NMLRA HAD a President who was not afraid to anyswer questions on a Public Forum, he was open, honest, and would evern talk about the NEGATIVES of the NMLRA.

Sadly the Presidents of the NMLRA who followed Yazel, Fulmer, and, Rowland did not follow this LEADERS EXAMPLE.

No, he can't, but YOU can Claude! Care to share the knowledge?

No. A member's public profile contains the information they have chosen to share. I cannot (will not) share anything beyond that.

Let me clarify. I would not ask you divulge any information that a member had set to private. Since there are over 13,000 members, it would be a monumental task to try to search them all. My question should have been worded to be that if you know of an NMLRA Director that has that as public information, would you share that member ID? I don't have a dog in this fight, so if you choose not to, it is fine with me!

Thanks!

I guess I misunderstood what you were asking. Sorry.

I'm not aware that any members have stated that they are Directors of the NMLRA.

I do seem to remember that one Forum member said he was a secretary for the NNLRA, but I don't recall his name.

I was at fault for not being clear. My apologies. I figure with 13k plus members, the odds are that there are at least a few NMLRA bigwigs afoot. Perhaps that will chime in to state the official positions.

With all due respect to everyone, if I were on the Board of the NMLRA, I would not get involved in these discussions with a bunch of anonymous posters. This is simply not the place to discuss association business - especially with non-members who have an obvious agenda.

Good point. I tend to post my opinion even if it is not viewed favorably, so I tend to think that others should do the same...

How come you did not run for NMLRA President and change things you do not like? Just an honest ? Mark

Honestly I got my fill of their :bull: after working as a Field Rep. during the year 1999, & 2000, seeing first hand how the group is run, spends money, and realized the group was just a Mid WEST Target Shooting Clique, who use the word
NATIONAL in their NAME.

The vast majoriety of the members of their BOD like it the way it is, and that is good for them. If they really want change, change would have happened in the last 10 years.

I just wish the NMLRA would quit pretending they want change, or are anything more than a Regional Group.

BTW Claude I believe the EX Secreatary of the NMLRA is a Member here, Tim Hablin or something close to that from Indiana, who never work to even support the Western Shoot when HE was in a position to do so as the group Secretary.

:bull:

Richard your right about this one. As I lay here dieing to fast now the NMLRA isnt a big deal, they will live or fall ..some how they act like the members that sent back those questionsss agree with them and in the same breath talk about changes back to thins as they used to be, maybe they saw the lite or not. If ya can shoot get after it your days may be numbered my friends. Fred :shocked2: :(

The amount of kids that don't like MLing is big and I don't get it they want lots of lead every place and fast OR none at all. intresting. Fred :hatsoff:

Fred,

I saw one of your rifles in June that John L. Hinnant has, nice rifle.

At times I type a response to the NMLRA discussions, then I hit the back space key, continuing the argument brings no value.

Arguing with those who are against the NMLRA is kind of like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after awhile you realize that the pig is enjoying itself.

I have been wondering how you have been doing, you have been too quiet too long.

Take care,

RDE
