Also, I'm looking forward to trying the nipples the gentleman who sells on Ebay alters to take red toy caps

They still fit regular caps too. He claims, ignition is reliable so we'll see

Good point Temple Destroyer-Titegroup-but our masters have discovered the weak link- primers. And to tie this to ML...The Governor of MT recently said that primer production will soon be coming to MT. Hopefully that will include ML cap production. We need to network w CF cartridge people. Even if the disciplines are quite different, our overall interests intersect enough to make that useful. As we watch our country dissipate it must be admitted that the smokeless people will be necessary to take it back. If.... they can find any components. Some states are beginning to get this. SW
good post hope it happens

I tried those red toy caps and half the compound fell out just taking them off the tree then only one went off

Well if people weren't still panick buying everything they found, everyone would have a few.

How is one pack per week not enough?
that is exactly what I say and you will be tag teamed by guys like one guy above who said I keep 10 years worth of components

One man's lifetime supply may be another man's 6 Month supply 😀

I know people who are still on the same can of Goex they bought in 1996. I burned up an entire pound of 1F in 3 hours a few days ago along with 100 caps and 100 balls.

However , I have no life and I live 3 minutes from my gun club. So I go before work sometimes twice a week, and I rarely shoot cartridge ammo because it's just too expensive. So if I want to shoot I usually take my BP guns
I do have a life (and a wife) live on 1700 acres (club ground) on the same side of the road as the short range(190) yds and across the street from the 800 yd (long range) and can walk to both ! So yup I can shoot a bunch of powder/lead and weather permitting do !Last week 24 degrees and a new 50 cal muzzy got a work out and tomorrow doing it again before the bigger snow Tuesday . The TC Renegade (dedicated LR muzzy along with a 1874 LR unmentionable eats enormous amounts of 530 gr lead/powder but I'm up to the task from planning ahead and I shoot according to some a life times worth in a day !Ed

yes I spark off at least 5000 caps a week

60 minutes time 24 hours times 7 days equals 10,800 minutes.

That means you shoot a cap every 2 minutes.

When you sleep and do you clean between shots?
