This rifle has a economy soule sight but the front sight is the same as he shot. It's a Ferriss adjustable globe. When he talked to me he told me exactly what to use right down to the Hadley eye cup.

When i set my 1st Rifle up (The 1-18 Twist GM Barrel that you Gifted me) Lee wasn’t much, if any help to me as he had never set one of these Rifles up like this (TC Hawken/Renegade) I had to do some “Pioneering” and figure it out

He was probably way more help for me since he already took that path with you.

Lee is an old sling shooter; a category of shooting that's basically unknown today to modern day shooters that basically don't know beans about how to use iron (aperture) sights. All the young guys coming up only know about scope usage to a degree and know nothing of National Match Course shooting which was popular for many years. The National Championship was held each year at Camp Perry Ohio. The military was 'heavy' into this game for many years but like everything else it was basically dropped because there wasn't enough men in the military that knew enough about marksmanship training to make up a baseball team!! In the photo he's using most likely an aperture front sight instead of a post!

He's using an aperture front sight.

Had him redo a trigger on an unmentionable, and I was am very happy with his work.

And yes, that's some amazing shooting. I'd like to know what load and projectile he used.
He's Using an apature on the rear as well. Without these you stand little chance at 1000yds. I'd use a glove rather have a badly buised hand. These big guns with 1000yd charges DO HURT. A sling is permited as is a Wrist rest in MLAIC rules.. OLD DOG..
