I use Metal Polish Cream by BlueMagic. I use to use Brasso but heard it has small abrasives in it so I stopped using it. I do personally like the patina look that comes with age but the two TC Hawken rifles I have are gonna get handed down to my Grandson when hes old enough to shoot and take care of them. I keep them in like new condition inside and out and want the brass to shine as bright as the sun when he receives those rifles. Respectfully, cowboys1062.

My personal MLers are left alone to do what MLers do over the years. All my "for sale" builds have "phony patina" on the brass after applying 44/40 cold blue.

The reason for the above....shiny brass gleams in sunlight....just don't want to get scalped.....Fred
