Has anyone else had trouble sending a priority mail package to Cabin Creek? I tried sending a prioroty mail package using Click and ship and keep getting a notice saying it's an invalid address. I gave up and took it to the post office hoping they could figure out what is going on and they got the same result. I called back to Cabin Creek and they said they get mail for that address almost every day so I had the post office go ahead and send it anyway. It's supposed to get there Saturday. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I got the same thing when I tried to mail a package to my granddaughter, the PO said there was no such place. I called my granddaughter, she said that was her correct address, I mailed the package, it got to her just fine.

Look at abbreviations in the address. My street is Circle. USPS rejects Circle no such address. It will accept CIR but not Cir. Obviously the programmer was not using "AI", or perhaps any form of "I"

Riggerjon,

I get mail for the cul-de-sac that's about four miles from my home. Both my address and those on the cul-de-sac are two-digits. That's the only similarity beyond also being on a cul-de-sac so the address ends in "Court". So the fact that the computer software doesn't think Cabin Creek's address exists isn't necessarily cause for too much concern. ;)

That's also why I get "frost-on-my-petunias" when I pay for UPS shipping and UPS drops the item in the USPS system when it gets close to my house. IF I wanted the booger eatin' moron who delivers my letters carrying my packaged order, I would've selected USPS as my shipping option.

OK... rant over...
