I may try to do some of that. Will take practice. I have some carving tools that should do the job OK. Now to find some gold flat wire I can afford. Or might make from copper wire.

Finding flat copper wire is pretty hard to do but most suppliers of muzzleloading gun building hardware also offer flat brass wire at very low prices.
With gold at over $1500/ounce gold would be out of my price range for sure!
