Well this is a pretty crappy. I'm still trying to work up a best load for my Kimber Colonial, but I can't blame this target on that. I'm just pretty wobbly off-hand shooting. Need to keep working at it to improve. It was fun to shoot it though.

You and I have the same point of view - number one priority is to have some fun! I usually shoot with a small group of friends - 4 to 5 of us - and we spend more time talking than shooting!

While I did have fun shooting this I was by myself so not nearly as good a time as with others.

Nice shooting! That's a fine looking rifle and I really like the camera setup with split screen!
Thank you. I thought it might be fun to watch myself shoot and do really good, really bad or somewhere in the middle. I have fun shooting and making videos. Black powder shooting is no.1. Thanks again. Happy shooting everyone.

Thanks for running these matches, Gary and congratulations to all who participated! Those 'shrooms weren't such an easy target, but enjoyable to "pick" nonetheless.
Glad you enjoy them Maven! These wouldn’t be much fun without you and all the other participants competing in them. I enjoy seeing the targets that are sent in as well as the types of equipment and loads that are used! Thanks for supporting these matches!

As much as I enjoy sharing first place with Freedom475, I must withdraw my entry because I didn't shoot in compliance with the contest rules. Here's what I wrote on September 2:

Target #2 speaks for itself, but I won't claim it or #3 for record as I shot kneeling, with my right forearm on the bench. (Lower back issues make off hand shooting difficult and painful these days.)

The lower back problem is still present and I will continue to participate in these matches, but not as an "official" entrant. Congratulations again to Freedom475 on his excellent shooting!
