Finally got out to shoot the lil guy! Went fairly well, first 15 shots at 15 yards all on 8.5x11 paper in a nice group. 7-8 yards was a 3" group. No kick, lotta smoke and fun! I do realize I MUST find some # 10 caps though, my 11's were a PIA, had to dig em out, often between shots. Dug 3 balls outta a pine tree backstop, mild flattening. Tried 10-12 and 14? (full) grains. TOW sold me .315 balls, no ring but fit OK. Will order some .319 or.320 and see if accuracy improves. I would say for what it was designed for its a great little gun.

Now, WHERE CAN ONE GET # 10 CAPS! ???

I use .315 in mine, no ring but no trouble so far. I can hit a 2 liter pop bottle consistently at 15 yards. #10 fit better but I haven't been able to find any in quite a while.

Both Bass Pro and Cabela's carry the Remington caps in #10, which are what I recommend.

I have an old fie baby dragoon, and have found using .oo buck (.323) out of shotgun shells actually fit better than most balls on the market. Have you tried track of the wolf or Dixie gun works for the #10 caps?

try checking walmart's website, a lot of times they have them at some stores. the website will tell you what stores have them in stock. maybe you an find one in your area that has 'em in stock
