wonder if the eyes were a changin a bit and he needed to relocate the rear sight "Just a skoshe?" :hmm:

I'd kinda be looking it over as well, but tapping out a roll pin and unscrewing two screws is a pretty easy fix. I guess I can see why it was unfired though, lol!

I don't know if that is the price since it is #328.

From what I have seen online, though, $328 would be a pretty typical asking price for an unfired Renegade.

I've actually considered that and may try it this season, whatta ya gain maybe an inch?

They were asking $450.00- I think 328 is just their inventory #. If a broker photographed and posted it and didn't catch that, I doubt they would be qualified to know if it was "unfired" either. The pics caught my eye and raised some questions. Just food for thought, good for a laugh :hmm:.

Give the guy a break. The photo is printed backwards. :>)
But the sight's still artsy-fartsy-backwardsy...no matter which way you're looking! :haha: Can't see where an inch would make any kind of difference unless you've got one dilly of an ocular condition! :rotf:

Wow, the things people do to a very nice gun blows me away..

It's got to be a pawn shop trade in and that's the way he got it. I see some real strange stuff in pawn shops with firearms. Looks like a pawn shop ID # on the tag.

Besides being on backwards to the collective eyes of the experienced ML community... I don't see why it would not work.

Most pawnshops are ignorant when it comes to black powder guns, I was at one once and an employee called a T/C New Englander a civil war rifle,, wow!! :rotf:

It's the one the Road Runner gave to Wi lee coyote :blah: Meep Meep ------------>

I don't usually like dealing with a gun place that has ignorant gun people you have to deal with. Unless of coarse it is to my advantage but most often it is a disadvantage because they want to much money and it makes it difficult to get them to a reasonable price. When I cruse the gun shops I always listen to them when they talk to others but I don't make it apparent that I am listening. This gives me an idea if they l of are honest in their dealings and if they know anything or are full of BS.

I'm of the other twist...basically, like to listen in and correct the nonsense! figure the poor soul trying to get started in our hobby doesn't need to get a lot of :yakyak: they don't need! There's ways of doing it that doesn't honk off the store employees either. Have had several gun store salesmen actually thank me for some insight or the other. If you start off with something like, "In my 50 years of doing this, I've actually found...."
