There has been a lot of discussion about India made guns and this thread is not intended to go down one of those old paths. Rather, it is just a side by side comparison of a .60 caliber India made Fusil de Chasse and a .62 caliber Chambers smooth rifle. This is just for fun and because I’m snowed in and had nothing better to do.

In the first picture, the India made gun is on the left, the Chambers on the right.

Neither gun is a safe queen. The stock of the India made was slimmed and refinished by a builder.

Maybe someday I’ll have a Kibler. I had a Brooks gun in my hands once and wasn’t able to keep it. It was nice.

Based only on your pics I don't think there should be any doubt the Chambers is the better of the two wrt any comparison you want to name.
