I spent a good part of yesterday attempting to gather up the basic stuff to try out my rifle this weekend... would you believe that no one has powder or caps in stock? Might not be entirely a bad thing, though, since when I went to put in a Hot Shot nipple I discovered the old one is in there rock-tight. Now to figure out where I put the penetrating oil...

often works that way.i loaded up everything i could possibly need to shoot a musket, drove the 30 miles to the nearest open range.got everything to the bench, then realized i had left the musket leaning in a corner by the front door.thankfully there were friends there to laugh at me.but they shared firearms,so it wasn't a total waste.still get teased about it.

:surrender: Kroil :surrender: No need to say more when it comes to penetrating oil! :hmm:

Totally agree. If Kroil can't fix it, nothing can.

Kano Labratories sells it $16.00 for two large spray cans delivered. I got some five years ago and I am still using from the first order. And I have used it on several guns, and a lot of farm machainery. A little goes a long way
