I'm just finishing this book, actually the volume is four book published by Skyhorse 2015. 791 pages. It deals with Kentucky, Tennessee, and the Old Northwest- (Ohio, Indiana, Illinois) from just before the American Revolution up to about 1800. There is a certain amount of story telling but also much historical information if you want to know more about this time period. Written by Teddy Roosevelt and decidedly Pro-American in sentiment. Thought I'd share.
