I'm planning on ordering a TVM Fowler. Anyone out there have opinions on this gun?

I have one on order mine will have a 42in 20ga barrel a l+r queen ann lock brass mounts with sling button and swivel.I own a TVM Virginia rifle and its my favorite!I thought the fowler and rifle will make a nice pair. TVM guns are top notch and Toni and Matt are great people to deal with the wait is a little long but its well worth it! If you have any questions give them a call and tell them Kevin L Colvin sent yaa and maybe i can swing a discount

Sparky,
I have handled a couple of TVM smoothies along with their rifles. I have a early Lancaster on order with them also.
I am by no means a expert....however.....I feel that I am wisely spending my hard earned CASHISH on a TVM rifle. If the ML gods permit...I will pick up a TVM smoothie this summer :master:
Good Luck

Hey, whatever happened to JP Gunstocks? They had some neat stuff.

Don't know. :: It's like they disappeared off the face of the planet. I think I'll post the question.

flint leather,
How long is the wait on a smoothbore from TVM? Kinda thinking about one myself.

They say 12 months, but I have a feelin' it may be a touch sooner than that.

Last I heard Jim Searles the owner retired up to Oregon and JP gunstock went by the wayside. I had trade rifle from them with a .54 GRRW barrel....selling it is my biggest regret when it comes to missing old guns.

ok guys, I'm a newbie so be kind, but WTH does TVM stand for? Do they have a web site? I'm always interester in LH flints, and someday I'll own one and kill a turkey with it. I guess then when depends on when I find one I can't live without.
