in a forum like this, part of the fun is the wisecracks that we can trade back and forth. trust me, i can give as well as get. that said, this banter is a blast!!!
 
I made a jig for holding the round bent frames to take the sides in a little. This is a brass frame that is for another board member.

john, i'm the one trying to keep up! i have to admit to being just a little green (with envy!) when i see your machine shop. i have access to macines at my job, but i think the management would take a dim view of my using them for an "outside job". my little 6" atlas/craftsman lathe is o.k., but it will only go so far, even with a little ingenuity.
 
don't let my jelousy stop you from your posts, though. i love following your projects, besides, i think you bear some of the responability for getting me started on wanting to build an underhammer!!!!! :grin: :wink:

LOOKING GOOD! Lollipop sight!
 
Sight is started but not finished. Also need to make the hammer and trigger screws and make a new breach plug for that big barrel so it will fit.
 
......and to the right under some stuff a DC trigger. Metalshaper.... :bow: :bow: you the man! 9 we got one thing to say about John, he's VERY fast and gets it right! Fred :hatsoff:
