I only own one rifle .... an old .40 caliber southern (Tennessee)style poorboy flinter with iron furniture and a Bill Large barrel. I do have an old navy arms SxS 12 gauge cyl/cyl bores that I use for pleasants. Everything else is taken with the .40. For small game, I use a .380 rb with a .22 thou's patch and less powder. For larger game including deer, I use a .395 rb with a .10 thou's patch and 70 grains of 3F. All patches are lubed with bears oil only. I've never been one who ever wanted or needed more than one rifle to do everything. I can only carry one gun at a time anyway. The wife also has one rifle too. Hers is a kentucky style .45 flinter.
