Is there a term for this condition?

the fault, dear Brutus, lies not in our stars but in ourselves ... now wait a darn minute ... this would imply that there is a fault, and I would posit that none exists.
you have not a condition, but are coming to the realization of the natural and proper order of the world, wherein ones rifles are properly made to fire by the striking of a flint to steel.
(pssst ... now you didn't hear this from me, but there is a true measure of a 'real man.' it has nothing to do with whether or not you drive a fancy car, or whether you eat quiche, or your sexual orientation, or what kind of shirt you wear, or even if you use a stick shift or an aotomatic transmission, but
real men use fountain pens, know how to shave with a straight razor, and shoot flintlock rifles... does that mean if you don't shoot a flintlock you're some sort of wus? well, probably not, but why risk it...)
what i'm getting to, in an admittedly long winded way, is that
there's nothing at all wrong with you now- but there
was a deficiency (now well corrected) in your world view; since you have developed a completely reasonable interest in flintlocks, you have entered the next level of coolness, hitherto unattained by those who are not as cool.
what?! opinionated and biased?? me - no not a bit!
