Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Depends on what I am hunting. Top,,my .36 TVM for turkeys and coyotes. Middle is my .54 Blue Ridge for elk, deer and antelope. Bottom my Pedersoli .62/20 gauge for Turkey, grouse.
I hunt very thick woods/thickets an if a deer runs off you better have a good blood trail or all you have done is feed the coyotes. Therefor I hunt with big caliber guns NOT for the power but for the size hole/holes it puts in em. Big hole equals lots of blood on the ground. My caliber of choice is a 62 shooting a 600 dia ball. Aint let me down yet
Christmas gift from my wife will likely take the place of my favorite hunter.
