For the past couple months, I’ve been working on sighting in my .54 calibre Tennessee Mountain rifle…took a break from that on going project and got out my TVM .40 calibre Natchez Poor Boy and had a blast. I haven’t shot that gun for several months, and quite frankly I had almost forgotten how much fun that little flinter is with a light 40 grain load.

Nothing from the bench, everything was offhand at 25 yrds, 50 yrds, and 100 yrds. It was so much fun.

Well…… I tripped and fell in the garden just before dark yesterday so nothing done other than thinking and wishing my new Kibler SMR was already completed. Got a friend that’s willing to help me finish it up.

Made me a woods walk course today. One of the power utility guys stopped by and had some 6" plastic discs in his trash bin and that is what I made the targets out of. Painted them orange and hung from tree limbs with elec fence wire. Will see how it works out tomorrow.
can i come and shoot with ya?!! sounds great!
Tore my ligaments and rotator cuff in that fall
you sir have my heartfelt condolences! been there done that.

I finished up this Lyman kit yesterday. Can’t wait to try it!
