Is there anyplace to get shot from without having to buy a large bag?Same here about steel. It has been a while since I hunted any waterfowl. If I ever do again I will take a modern unmentionabl Benelli that is good for steel.

Ten pound bags seems to be the minimum. Except you can find buckshot in 5 pound boxes. On the up side, it won't go bad on you.Is there anyplace to get shot from without having to buy a large bag?

Wow nice look.Continuing work on the SMR. I repolished the trigger guard, butt plate, pipes, & rear sight. Applied multiple coats of Jax Black and drew each back with steel wool. Trying to capture the same finish as the lock. I think I’m happy with it. Here’s a few photos in different lighting. Was shooting for a light, steel blue.

Well, that's what a woods walk is supposed to be, nicht wahr?I’m wanting to go to a woods walk soon. My friend told me the furtherest target is 92 yds. I have two rifles. A .32 and a .36. Never shot my .36 further than 50 yds so I went to the range today and shot 25 offhand, 50 off the bench and offhand and 100 off the bench.
The 100 was kinda ugly but I am looking forward to going to the shoot and having fun.
