Ran a modified over the log match in the rain today. 18 shooters, 7 observers. Largest shoot attendance ever in spite of the rain. 50% more shooters than my last two years average shooter attendance with 20 matches held. Did I mention in the rain?

I remember BINTD when I used to shoot 370g maxi balls out of my hawken with 100g of powder. Shooting prone was not a whole lot of fun.....

Worked on a new video project this afternoon. Weather was tolerable here in KY.
First video from over 250+ videos I've ever done shooting paper.
No more paper shooting for me........I'm going back to steel.

I took the family to a flea market today. I picked up four 10/32 taps, a tap wrench, a set of never used drill bits, an old Stanley hand drill that looks like was never used. All made in America. I showed my twelve year old son how to "bundle" and offer a price and got it all for ten bucks. I love to buy old tools from flea markets!

I agree , reactive targets are more fun , I like shooting clay targets with the fluro chalk powder inside ,

Frankenstuffer now has interchangeable barrels. 16ga smooth bore and .45 rifle with 1:66 twist. 20 inches long.

Inletted the walnut chassis so I could use a hose clamp to secure the muzzle end. Loosen the clamp, remove the barrel toward the rear and slide in another barrel. All done in three minutes. The MG42 of muzzleloaders.

Installed the drum .030 more from the breech face than needed. Then ground the breech face and walked the drum into the lock plate cutout and flush with the wooden breech block.

Need to sand the barrel and buy/install another picatinny rail.

Went to my grandsons birthday party. When I got home much to my surprise my Crockett I bought from a forum member was sitting on my porch. Wasn’t supposed to be here til Tuesday. He sent a .311 mold with it. i unboxed it and looked it over real good. It’s like new. After church tomorrow,I’m going to mold some balls and run down to the range and try her out!
