I didn't see any ML stuff at my local store.
But there are more stores in the area.

They were sold out in my town. But the sporting goods manager at my Walmart showed me that they were available in all the surrounding towns. I had my sister-in-law pick me up five tins! There are plenty of caps for sale at Walmart.
This is 2 different stores.

I don't need any caps.
The lower picture are caps going to a friend when I see him at the NSSA event in October.
He can't find them in the Carolinas.
I've got similar but older, and probably just as tough as they will do the job on anything (but those pins). Thanks for the tip though.I used a pair of Lineman’s Pliers to cut the pin material with the SMR I put together, then used the same single cut file I used smoothing out the barrel milling marks to file the ends of the pins smooth. Lineman’s Pliers are awesome. They’ll cut screws, nails, wire… pretty much anything you can fit between the cutters.

That method is how I found lots of caps last year. They were sold out in my town. But the sporting goods manager at my Walmart showed me that they were available in all the surrounding towns. I had my sister-in-law pick me up five tins!
What a pal!! Way to look out for your buds!
Thank you. The inspiration, as opposed to doing traditional carving, was the ancient Indian mound at Newark, Ohio. It is only about 5 feet tall end to end, but something that should be seen if you are ever in the area.I like the snake
5 Feet! My dear Doctor, your range finder is out considerably! Damn typos. Thanks for posting the pics of the rifle and the inspiration, Doc, both look fantastic.Thank you. And thank you to all others who have commented. It is very much appreciated.
The Doc is out now.
Ha! Doc. What a nice guy. He sorted me out via a very polite PM. The snake is five feet high along its entire length. I confess, I need to pay more attention to the conversation (my wife says that too!). Thanks for straightening me out Doc, and for not getting snaky about it5 Feet!
