Started making a .54 cal. wooden loading ramrod. Finish it tomorrow , along w/ 80 gr. thinwall brass tubing powder measure. These are nice and can hang on a cord inside or outside of the shot pouch.
Need to see a picture of how you make yours.
made that quip today to the dump manager while the bride was sitting next to me.
never have been mistaken for smart.
actually said I would have gotten a lesser sentence for murder.
didn't realize this old sofa was so lumpy!
Just had our 54th in December. Never occurred to me how romantic a chiropractor visit is. 🤣

At our 50th anniversary celebration I was asked "how does it feel to be married for 50 years?"

I replied "feels like a hundred ". Yeah, she heard it.

Looked again this afternoon for the drill tap set that I couldn't find this morning. Found it. Difference was 40 degrees F in the "shop".

Got it done.

Marked for alignment.

We really did go to Walmart last night, it's right about a hundred miles from our house just over the border in North Dakota near where fort Union is ,
the fort Union that Lewis and Clark founded.
When all the people went shopping at the fort to do their trading and bartering I wonder if they felt like people do today when they have to go to walmart?

First time we've been here in probably 3 months. I don't miss it when we don't get to go.

Not really great prices on things unless you're buying pre-processed food items or junk food items microwavable foods like that.

A lot of very unhappy people like a bunch of scared desperate animals it's really sad and kind of depressing.

They seem to have replaced all of the humans that do the clerking and replaced it with self-checkout Lanes but they had yellow plastic chain that was blocking them all off and there were long lines of people.

Did save a bit of money buying the large 8 lb blocks of cheese the large packs of bacon ends an pieces ,and cases of canned beans as well as things such as instant potatoes gravy, rice , we did save actually quite a bit on the basics.
Five men cut in front of me well I was standing in line for the self checkout, I was kind of surprised how ungrateful so many of the people were acting.
Ever so many people had these angry frustrated glares on their faces as they kept crowding and shoving.

I remember several years ago how this could easily be remedied , a bunch of people crowding and pressing and packing around you trying to get there first, with some fake coughing an sey out loud ' man this corona virus is really getting to me!' and watch all the sheeople break their necks as they scatter in all directions trumpling each other and running into the walls and display shelves.

Hahaha those covid pandemic days were really a lot of fun at Walmart

Made and installed a staple for the powder horn I'm working on. Used a 16D common nail for the staple. I will be grinding away the heads of the fasteners, they look too tacky to me.
I used some small brass plated nails for the last horn I did. Got ‘em at Lowe’s.

I make mine out of leather bags and have them color coordinated so I know what size ball is inside.
Light tan , Brown and very dark leather colored bags so I know what size ball is inside by the color of the bag,
I also carry a can of caps in each bag,
I do not have a full can I only have around 20 caps in each can for the rifles, and 40 for the pistol size balls,

That’s a good idea. These are going in three different shooting bags (a different bag for each caliber).

I have one shooting bag aside from my possible bag, if I'm taking the 54 out I don't generally carry the 50 mold or balls with me, depending on which size pistol I take out I usually just carry the bag of pistol ammo in the same shooting bag,
