Location. 40° 22.694′ N, 83° 39.393′ W. Marker is near Bellefontaine, Ohio, in Logan County. Marker is on Old Sandusky Trail (Ohio Route 533), on the right when traveling north. marker is about 800 feet north of the tiny hamlet of New Jerusalem (intersection of St Rt 540). It is back a grassy lane, after the 2nd driveway to the east. This is private property, but I have always been told there was a public easement to the site. In 2014, St Rt 533 was downgraded to it’s original status as a section of Logan County Road 5, the “Old Sandusky Trail”. Touch for map. I have MS Mike and sometimes it wins the battle. Never will win the war. residual of this bout is lingering but the wife is starting to slap my hands so i suppose i am getting better

haven't done it yet but today i plan on setting up a chrono my young friend dropped off yesterday and seeing some numbers. have been curious as to the velocity difference between Swiss and my brew.

I have a somewhat understanding of what you deal with. My wife has MS and sure is the devil to deal with. Not her the MS lol. I support her any way I can, she's A fighter! Good luck to you and hang in there

I found out that Ed Rayle lied to me about my 36 caliber barrel with false muzzle.

For about 40 years I had this Ed Rayle false muzzled barrel marked as 36 caliber. I finally had the perfect project to make a rifle out of it. I found a very near Dave Kennedy (North Carolina) butt stock that was past any hope of recovery, at least at my talent level. I now have a finished rifle using the patch box, trigger guard, butt plate, toe plate and triggers.

I went to the range to finally test fire it for the first time. My 0.350 balls with (what else) #40 cotton drill cloth patches virtually fell down the barrel. Needless to say accuracy was poor. Even the 0.360 balls were so loose I could start the ball and without touching the ramrod, the ball would be pushed to the breech.

Now what do I tell everyone to do to determine what ball and patch to use. Yes, measure the land to land bore diameter. What did I do? I didn't measure the bore diameter. What did I find out when I measured the bore diameter?

I have a 0.400" bore.

Well, I always wanted a 40 caliber rifle. Now I have one.

Thanks. As the years go by I’ve acquired locks of different sizes. Never seemed to have a depth of flints for each until now. It took awhile.

The plastic tote I’m starring down contained several medicine bottles, all containing flints of different sizes..

It was on the prize blanket at one of our shoots… Obviously I had my eye on it, and the shooter that finished just ahead of me picked it up..

If I’m not mistaken it contained around 120 flints..

Yeah , I know where he's buried now , been there a few times but he was buried some where else then moved to be he cemetery he's at now . Was just curious if you knew the exact location of his first burial spot . Strange ....much like Daniel Boone and Jesse James , buried and moved later . Ive been to all those sights before . Just curious ....

I have no clue Kenton was buried elsewhere.
