The foxfire book says their hide makes good shoe strings. They really do have a pig like hide It really was just like skinning a hog, dirty belly and all. I have mine frozen and will most likely tan it hair off we will see what he leather looks like. I have a ball bag made out of a squirrel hide their tails make good drawstrings.
 
On or around Feb. 2, and usually the Super Bowl, these show up for dessert :hmm: :hmm:
They really do go well with BBQ'd chuck that you do with a dry rub, after overnight brine; brush on sauce of our choice while cooking.
