    While we were at Dixon's.......

Hmm! Looks somewhat familiar. Seems like I might have seen something similar not too long ago. I'll have to think on it awhile :hmm:. Hank

    muzzle flutes.............

I like the idea. Was thinking of doing something similar but much shorter flutes. Possibly just filing in notches at a 45 degree angle. If and when you do it, post some pics. Hank

    Great Trails report

Went to the Great Trails Festival last Sat. Nice event with a fair number of trade blankets to peruse. Met Blahman and crew at the Gunmaker Hall. They had a great rifleing display going on. They also know how to have a good time. Blahman, maybe next year I'll have my oilers card. Hank

    pin size

I usually use 1/16 pins and make them a little short on final assembly. I also put a slight bend in them in case for whatever reason they loosen up. Hank

    Dunlap Woods baby!

I just got 3 blanks from him and they are spectacular. I think it only took 3 or 4 days for delivery. Ordered 2 grade 7's and 1 grade 5. Can hardly tell the difference. Great folks to deal with. Hank

    Gary: pic's from Log Cabin!

Snake-eyes, for all the farther it is for you, you owe it to yourself to go. You can spend a whole day there easily. Don't bring money :imo: Hank

    Great Trails

Blahman, do you have anymore info on Malvern? Was up there earlier this year at the Northwest Primitive. Wasn't too impressed from a builders point of view. Is there any conection? Hank

Plans for a loading stand anyone?

I have a new puter and new camera. If I'm ever able to make the two work at the same time I'll post some pics :hmm:. Yeah, that'll happen. Hank

Half Stock Heavy Barrel Just Arrived Pics!

Other than fixing the lock, I'd leave it alone. Looks neat that way and has a lot of character. Most everyone has a gun that looks almost new. Hank

    Quick Chisel Question

I like to do that to all my chisels to foil the chisel magnet in my concrete shop floor. They're always wanting to roll off otherwise. Hank
