    Pa late season

    Got my second deer of the PA flintlock season yesterday. I had 3 come into me through the thick brush I was in the middle of. I let the first 2 pass through the small opening I had and took the 3rd, the largest, with a straight on shot. The deer feel in it's tracks dead. Sorry, no pictures...

    Best Cold Weather Lube??

    Stumpy, I mixed up some of the Moose Milk detailed above and dipped/dried some strips of ticking. It doesn't seem like there is much lube in the ticking. Is this normal? Do I need to "freshen" it before I use it as in spraying it a little to make it moist or just use as is? Thanks

    Just some advice, don't wait until late summer. There's this little thing called supply & demand. One is short in the late summer and the other there is too much of. If you plan to build one or have one built the first 1/2 of the year is the time to do it. First 1/4 is really a good time.
