    if ur rifle willoot maxie ball say 250 gr or larger it should have no problem. withworth voloneer rifles shoot a 475 gr 451 cal. and have dropped buffalo and brown bear.

    patch and ball size depends on rififleing depth. deep rifleing needs a he groups thich patch and smaller rb. i have in 40 yrs i have never seen anyone use 25 th patch. if the rate of twist is 1 in 48 then those are good groups for hunting. check it and rifleing. if loading is real easy then try...

    hes done 2 barrels for me. an invest arms 50 cal to 58 smoothbore, and a green mt. 50 cal smooth bore. he rifle the grn mt. 1 in 60. thay have both been fitted to my lyman trade rifle.. now i m gettin them blued.

    since barrel wedge is dove tailed u can stack it like the front sight. also l and r locks mack a replacement for it. :thumbsup:

    sling stud for gpr

    i dropped the rifle and mashhed the thimbles. i did not have a rod in it. it is and old gun. the new ones come with a provition for another tmible and stud. i had called them thinking it was a wrong part. they did not state or know of a manuf.
