At the risk of asking a stupid question, do these locks have a separate frizzen spring or does the main spring do double duty?Hi Cyten
Thanks so much for posting these photos along with information on your visit. Wonder if this shop with restored pieces has a website offering their restored items for sale ? Very cool.

If you are talking about the Caucasian style miquelet locks, yes, they have a separate frizzen spring. The spring is just hidden behind what we call a fence. At the risk of asking a stupid question, do these locks have a separate frizzen spring or does the main spring do double duty?
As Bedford County Doc hinted at, that's a reenactment of the painting "Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks"
Thank you guys, yes I do make Circassian type rifles and pistols from time to time. In fact I shared the last pistol today. I can send it to the USA (as far as I know it is the only country that reaches it without any problems). However, I send it disassembled in two or three pieces (This is necessary to be able to get it out of my country, and it also reaches the recipient without any problems).Does that mean that he won’t be able to ship them out of Turkey?
