As for loot after Waterloo I think all the Cabinet d arms guns had inventory numbers so the V&A gun likely had these As for mixes of parts & cultures even the Vikings traded into the Ottoman Empire .' Good point and the French (extremely controversially) had alliances and positive relations with the ottomans in the 1500s.

I bet they would have gotten in clear if they'd landed between 11am and 3pm, when the douainiéres were having their lunch.

Well you know if the Brits would've just stayed in the EU they might not have had that problem.

I bet they would have gotten in clear if they'd landed between 11am and 3pm, when the douainiéres were having their lunch.

I know where my dad was that day I remember him saying he was wet for days. And the piles of bodies stacked like cord wood at Falaise's gap .His forth RA likely had a hand in that .
