Thank you for running this; it's my first ever postal competition. Surprisingly, I actually hit the target! Still sighting in and figuring out a load. Targets should be in the mail today.

Well, Marc, I finally decided to try the postal competition. Shows me that I need to spend more time at the range. My targets are in the mail.

Absolutely, I’ll allow target shot with a pistol and rifle. Please mark them accordingly.
Mine's in the mail, Marc, but I shot both @ 25 yd. owing to the glare of the full sun. (Our firing line is completely covered/shaded.) I forgot to mention [on the targets] that my GPR has primitive sights as the adjustable rear one didn't hold "zero."

I've never engaged in any of these shoots, but have a question. Is it admissible to put a dab of red paint on the bull or attach a small sticky piece of paper or something or must the targets be as they come off of your printer? Not trying to get an unfair advantage, but sadly I admit that my eyes aren't what they once were and I'd struggle to sight on the bull without a bit of color.

I feel your pain. I'm guessing most here do. I'm sorry, I'm going to say shoot the target as printed. But stay tuned for the August shoot because it will be a target you make and you will be able to use the color of your choice on the "bullseye" for contrast.

Thanks. At 20-25 yards, I might be able to manage and I'll probably still "give it a shot".
Marc, Two more targets in the mail, shot with my rifle. which this time is a rifle built by a gentleman named Gary Joplin, who is now deceased, may he Rest in Peace. .45 cal Kentucky style 44" Green River barrel if I'm correct.

Thank you for the offer but I can't ask you to do that. I'm kind of stubborn about asking for favors.
If I want to shoot i'll have to find a way or just stick to my hunting and woods walks.

That's a thought but i'm not sure it's open because of covid19. I'll check it.
I have a library here. We can use the computers for one half hour only. It would take me that long to get to this forum. The librarian lady is not the friendly type. She yelled at me last time I was in there because I dared to ask how the internet was affecting the library. Very touchy. Hard as nails. Mean.
