Does 22 years as a Navy Officers' Brat count for anything?

So, that makes you at least 22 years old... :winking:

Amen, OJ! I was mechanized Infantry but all the humping I did, I'm not sure if we were supposed to ride on those things (113 APC) or just work on 'em! I never had to hump a base plate or mortar tube, but I carried a '60 for more than a few miles.
Made a few trips in the Blackhawks and chinooks. I absolutely loved flying in the Blackhawk, but I'd rather listen to dogs bark than ride in another shithook!
While I'm on that topic, I watched a program on the Military channel a couple weeks ago that had tears streaming down my face by the end. It was called, In the Shadow of the Blade." It was a documentary about a couple guys who flew a Huey across the country and hooked up with former crew mates, wounded transports, or family members of people killed in Viet Nam. Awesome, awesome show. If you get a chance, see it.
Thanks to all who have made the sacrifice. Thanks to all who have picked up where we left off and continue the fight for freedom! God Bless America! Hoo Ahh!!!
