Postal Match: Clubs Wanted

Hi All

I'm looking for some some clubs to compete in some postal matches over the winter.

My club is a small group of 5-10 dedicated shooters who meet monthly to shoot a 25 yard 20 round match (5 shots X 4 targets). We thought it would be fun to shoot for bragging rights against other similar sized clubs by designating one of our targets as the "postal" target for the month. I would make this target available for download to interested clubs who could then shoot it and post their results...hopefully with digiphotos of participants and shot targets. I thought this might be a fun way to get involved with other clubs. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Here is the January target.

- 5 shots off-hand at 25 yards, all shots count, score yourself and mark on target.

- Line cuts, count the higher score

- Any caliber, flint or percussion.

- Open iron sights only, can be adjustable, no peeps or front globe sights.

- Target can be oriented any way you choose

High average club score counts for bragging rights, individual high scores will get honorable mention.

If possible please take a digiphoto of each shooter with their scored target so we can see who is who. Post results to this thread.
I'm sure I missed something as I have never done this before let me know if I did. Hope to see some clubs enter.

I'll ask my Club. We have anywhere from 5-18 people show. 1st Sunday of every month, so we wouldn't post until at least Dec 4...
