Should I Discontinue My Build Log?

Some valid concerns that this log may be misleading new builders have been expressed. I'm willing to terminate the build log, if it's the wish of the majority of the forum community. Maybe dressing up as different 1960 Alamo characters each day of the build would bring an authentic flavor to the process.

Continue it as a "log" not a tutorial.

There are lessons to learnt there either good or bad, it will help future builders and instruct them on issues they may or may not encounter.

Continue the log. In Gunsmithing or Armorers work there is more than one way to skin a cat. When knowledge is shared either good or bad it's helping someone out. You have done what you thought was correct and you're making that rifle yours at the end of the day.

I never looked at it till just now. Very tedious. You should have taken my kibler kit class. We get SMRs out of there completely finished, assembly , wood, and metal in 4 days. You're really making hard work out of this project. But if you enjoy it. Carry on by all means. I don't have to read it.

I can learn from everyone. If it’s good, I try to emulate it. If you do something wrong I learn from your mistake..hopefully. Keep it up. I’ve been needing to finish my SMR I started in 2005.
