First, I want to thank everyone who guessed a number in this give away. Was nice to see forum members participating.

Second - the number I picked between 0-1000 was 735 You could say I was influenced by the Brown Bess

Third - what is the process to select the winner. After the midnight close date - the computers tabulated and calculated all the entries, throughout the night. Once the calculating was done, I had the Taffin Brothers and the distinguished accounting firm of Dewie, Cheatum & Howe audit the results. And the
winner is - Okie Hog with a guess of 746

Winter sucks. To make it more interesting - I found I have a duplicate of The Small Arms of the British Forces in America 1664-1815 book. Condition of book is new.

I have a number in mind - between 0-1000 - who ever is the closest by end of day - this Friday (2/4/2022). Who ever is the closest or guesses my answer will win this book. If a number is chosen by more than 1 person - the person who stated that number first - wins.
