Freedom of speech doesn't allow you to say anything you want, whenever you want to whomever you want with NO fallout for your statements. What I lament is the loss of civility and manners - this is the problem, not the possibility that someone's feelings might be hurt...Wow! The topic was SPAM. Now we’re into hurt feelings. I suppose no one watches the news, because someone’s feelings would certainly be hurt. What ever happened to “stick and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me”? We have raised a generation that seems to be offended by every little thing, and need safe spaces to run to to avoid having their feeling hurt. They need counseling because their candidate didn’t get elected President. They talk about micro-aggressions, subtle little things that offend. People lose their jobs because of stupid things they did when they were teens or young adults decades ago.
Free speech is dead, all because we might hurt someone’s feelings or offend someone. The founders would be rolling around in their graves! I’m glad I’m old, cause this PC manure is not for me.
Now about SPAM, I love it fried with eggs and Tabasco! Also like what the Hawaiians have done with the musubi!
There is no reason to be rude/crude/insensitive/bigoted/obnoxious just because you can (in the guise of "Free speech")...
