Throw in one stick of lead from a adjustable pencil and they will be coated with graphite like a factory ball. It will not let it get lead oxide on the outside also.

Look up a member on the Cast Boolits forum by the name of randyrat. He sells a few differant types of wax. This is where I get all of mine. The last time I was at a hobby store it was $17/lb. No way I will pay anything like that ever again. Randy is way cheaper and a very good person.

I use a all copper Chore Boy scrubing pad. The lead comes right out! Works better than the bronze wool.

Just to put a coating on them like the factory balls have. They are nice and slick. Plus with them rolling around in the thumbler, it takes off what little sprue is there.

If you have to use the Pyrodex, use the P. Would not go over about 80grs though. It works much better than the RS or Select. The Pyrodex is also more corrosive than real black.

Is the TC lube you are using the Bore Butter? If it is stop using it. I never hear of anything good with using it.
