There is a spot down in the missouri river bottoms, it's half a mile wide about three quarters of a mile long the river is on one side a corn field on the other side. There's eight to ten drays and at least three nests. The squirrels are active sun up to about 10:00 or so.
I used to hunt them with a .22 years ago and then got more into big game and kinda forgot about the small game. Then last November I joined the muzzleloader form, added a .32 cal cherokee to my black powder arsenal and I'm back in the game.

Now you’re tracking right. There’s nothing better than squirrel hunting with a small caliber, traditional ML. It is as challenging as it gets and the absolute most rewarding hunting I’ve ever done.

Hunting along a body of water can pay off big time.

Oh my gosh. 35 minutes in a pressure cooker, then roll in flower and cornmeal mixed, in a skillet for 35-45 minutes on medium low.

Glad to hear your back in the Game.
I've a lot good things about the Cherokee.

Hey Ed, just noticed that time. Are you using an InstantPot? If so you don't need to run them that long. Big ole tough dry chicken breasts I only run 10 min. But, hey, I can't argue with success if 35 worked.
