ebay for "rare" parts! one part fits everything!
only those car washes with the blue foaming big round brushes. be sure to duct tape the rifle to the car top carrier good.
the best sand to mix with the everclear is from the bottom of the kids fish tank.
just be sure you pump it out with a grease gun!

Where can I get parts. Can I clean my rifle at the car wash, can I use patches cut in different shapes besides square or round and does rubbing alcohol and sand make a good mixture for patch lube.
Yes, on every statement if you want to! LOL!

I got a good laugh out of the initial post, I knew it was tongue and cheek right off but also knew some here would take it seriously.

I would like to know; if while shooting your ramrod down range, do you find you get a better overall ramrod group with a heavier cleaning jag on the end to provide a more weight forward configuration for this long projectile?

Triangular patches will clean best. As for sand, do not use sand from an ocean beach. It contains sea salt and will corrode your barrel in a heartbeat. Hope this is of some help to you. Dan

The Ashby study has your answer,

If you use
Silica sand
Mixed 50/50
With 2f powder
You'll find the
Quartz content
Greatly increases the
Burn rate of
All
Black powder
Upon ignition the
Powder superheats the
Quartz which
In turn assists in completing the
Burn
An additional benefit from
Silica sand is that it
Glows white several yards
Downrange
Illuminating your target on those
Dawn and dusk shots
The finest sand particles actually
Melt as they
Pass through the barrel
Leaving a microscopic coating of
Glass
Allowing all
Metallic projectiles to
Travel the barrel with 78% less
Resistance
This process is
Not recommended for shooting
Marbles as the glass in the
Silica sand will melt into the
Marble
Leaving a
Cat's eye permanently lodged in the
Barrel
Don't ask me how I know this
Because I haven't
Actually tried it

If the snow is the right moisture content you can drag it home behind your truck and it will scour up real nice.

Mosr definatly, too light of ramrod looses accuracy after 15-20 yards but say a brass rod looses energy. You have to fire a lot of rods to find the best grouping
What is the best lube for a winter solstice ramrod shoot in the northern hemisphere on a Tuesday when there is a fire danger using 4fffffffffg powder and it is overcast??

They tell me big foot poop is good also, especially after he ate blueberrys, since there is no big feets in my neck of the woods I just use bear poop. Also the blueberrys have a nice taste, you know after loading and you lick yer fingers.
