Somebody once told me there's no such thing as a dumb question.

They lied.

But hey, I did pick up on the fact that this post wasn't serious right away. Once in a while the old guy does catch on.

I got a good laugh out of the initial post, I knew it was tongue and cheek right off but also knew some here would take it seriously.

I would like to know; if while shooting your ramrod down range, do you find you get a better overall ramrod group with a heavier cleaning jag on the end to provide a more weight forward configuration for this long projectile?
How come you load your ramrod with the jag end out? I would think that shooting them with the jag at the back end would enhance the jagdrag and help with down-range stability. Worth experimenting a bit. Shoot 3-rod groups at 25,50 and 100 yd. with each variant on the basic unadorned rods (control group), compare the results, and report back which works best. (if your arm still works)

Really I should have never posted this, it was just in response to so many weird questions and responses from people who never even actually read the questions posted by others. I forget too that some don't understand sarcasm so my bad. If I can remove this post I will.

I caught it immediately and thought it was hilarious!

I’ve started using fresh bat brains for lube. I haven’t had trouble loading for 20 rounds. All My hits are in the 10 ring. It’s great. Yo take the lubed bullets down range w you show them the 10 ring. It seams they hold there sonar properties.

Dang car wash sure tied my breechclout in a uncomfortable knot, every time I tried it.

As for Alcohol and Sand: I would really say keep the sand and ditch the alcohol, perhaps Windex and Sand as many hear like using it (not myself personally).
You see the Alchohol tends to have a lot of sugar in it that will gum things up soon enough and all that sugar in your barrel just ain't good for it.
So perhaps try Windex and a fine grit sand, or maybe 10-30 motor oil and sand, but Don't use the alcohol.

Now a good Pot Distilled cane rum as a sweetener and cake starter in your pipe would work, be it a new one or well used pipe. Now some around here will tell you to use honey, and that's okay and proper period as well. Honey will build your first cake up quickly, but I prefer to let it build gradually, plus I favor my rum baccy so I like a sweetener that blends. I don't however suggest those store bought sweeteners, they do nothing for cake building, better to just find a baccy you like.
