I got Buripity's target today.

'Course his target got sabotaged by one of them old fellers shakin' his elbow just as he was shootin'...

That aint what happened. He heard the dinner bell and rushed his shot. GW
See. There goes another ol' timers perception of reality. It's so sad when they start losing their marbles...and right in front of us. :( Actually, it wasn't the dinner bell that distracted me. It was the timer going off reminding Grey Whiskers to take his cholesterol pill, his blood pressure pill, his arthritis pill, his ginkgo biloba pills, and sadly, his "little blue pill." :blah:

That might just be a matter of opinion... :hmm: We should ask mrs.Grey whiskers... :blah:
Maybe if we encouraged more of these ol' fellers to pop that Blue pill then we'd stand a chance...they'd be distracted :rotf:
Jefffrro,
Get Nary target from Nova Scotia yet?

We old timers need to keep off them blue pills until we do our shots. Ifin you take one of them blue pills I hear the blood will flow to the "other" brain and you will not be able to "focus" on your rifle sights. That's what I heard anyway. On them commercials they mention
loosing eyesight and getting swimmy headed. This
ain't good for looking down your sights!

Nope. Just how old is the mailman who picks up your mail? :haha:
:cursing: Never woulda guessed that our Mail"person" is an old man disguised as a 30ish woman... :blah:
Jeffro...How old is the mailman that delivers yours?

The one that comes to my house is a FEmailman too. "course the ones who put the mail in my P.O. box are sneaky. I never seen nothin' of 'em but one time, I opened the door and there was an eyeball lookin' back at me thru the hole. They ducked outta view before I could identify 'em tho.

Jeffro,
I figure afore' you get my target in the mail I'll become an Old guy.... :hmm:

when do you draw the line from corner to corner? I have been doing it after the shot , does it matter? I don't think I can see that x at 50 yds anyways.

Jes' shot mine today. It'll be in the mail tomorrow morning - another target for that ground swell of maturity, balance, and....and...and...
There was sumthin' else, I think. Or was there?
Target! No, that'll be in the mail to MM56.
Maturity, balance and
Time for a nap.

It really doesn't matter when you draw the X, or how thick you make the lines according to the rules. The X can be any color you like and as thick as you need to be able to see it at 50 yards. The center of the paper will be determined during scoring anyway.

Contest Rules
The target is a standard sheet of printer paper with an X drawn thru the center corner-to-corner.

Shots will be measured from the center of the hole to the center of the paper.

I will be getting myself a construction grade sharpie to draw a couple lines through my target that I can see this time.

Me too. That was my problem with the forum war contest. I couldn't even see my lines so I just aimed for the center of the paper.

That is what I have been doing, I think I will continue this way it has not been that bad, the lines will likely just confuse me at any rate. Maybe later today or next Sat. I will see if I can hit the paper..that was standard 8'x11 1/2' paper wasn't it?
